Sundays are for beauty what the 1st January is to a new year
Streets are empty, everybody’s so hangover you barely get any texts… And your skin is dehydrated desperately screaming for some healthy drugs.
Before the next week starts I like to go on a spa trip to our bathroom to do some proper skin care. We’re lucky enough to have beautiful green marble covering the walls. So it really does feel like I’m at a place that’s not my own, which I really enjoy.
I’ve been using the Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream from Aēsop for about a year now and I love it. The smell, the texture, the way it so gets absorbed by your skin. I’ll tell you something: it’s expensive AF. But oh, isn’t it worthy to have such a blissful product in your skin care routine!
Nice for winter, but even better for spring summer weather, this cream is a dream come true. I doubt it has any particular anti-ageing ingredients. I mean, the real hardcore chemical ones. But to be honest I can live a couple of more years pretending like I’m not seeing the little wrinkles around my eyes.
Talking about eyes. I’m looking for an alternative to my Kiehl’s avocado eye cream. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not great. Unlike the Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream, this one leaves me with a feeling of MEH that makes me wonder why I paid 36 EUR for it in the first place.
Any great tips on eye creams that do wonders? Please advise!
