Meet the Makers this NYFW

Steve Madden's Campaign

Something great is starting tomorrow and we -fashion addicts- are so looking forward to it. Yes, I am talking about NEW YORK FASHION WEEK!
The lucky ones will be pampered by PR people, while they go from their hotel to fashion shows, from there to showrooms and nice cocktails, then to exclusive night parties and finally back to their hotel again. The not-so-lucky ones will sit in front of their computer in the comfort of their home and watch the shows in streaming. I am on the second category this year.
But this February we will all enjoy the event differently. From the 7th till the 18th, Steve Madden will give us an inside look at the people that make this event the most exciting time of the year, offering an exclusive glimpse into a day in the life of a fashion lover during New York Fashion Week.

Steve Madden's Campaign

Starting tomorrow, Steve Madden will debut “Meet the Makers“, a five-part video series from some of fashion’s heavy hitters including MTV’s Senior Editor, Mary Choi, We Wore What blogger Danielle Bernstein, up-and-coming designer Ann Yee and more. The series will occupy all of Steve Madden‘s social media channels with interviews, backstage happenings, show-hopping and exclusive Outfit of the Day posts!
But wait, there’s more coolness in the air! Besides Steve Madden‘s daily gift cards that you can win during these days, “Meet the Makers” will include a mind-blowing contest hosted on Facebook. If you are the lucky winner of this contest you will enjoy a VIP experience in New York City where you will meet Steve Madden himself and play shoemaker for a day as you design your own shoe in the Steve Madden factory. And this sounds like the perfect excuse for me to travel to New York very soon!

We won’t wait too long to see this happen. The release of the series trailer goes live tomorrow!
